Niagara College campuses are located in Welland, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Niagara Falls. The College has more than 9,000 full-time students enrolled in over 100 diploma, graduate certificate, apprenticeship and Bachelor’s Degree programs. In addition, over 15,000 students are registered in over 600 credit, vocational and general interest programs.
For the 2017-2018 school year, 110 full-time programs are offered and delivered through 12 schools within Niagara College. This includes 65 diploma programs; 13 1-year certificate programs; 3, 4-year degree programs; 14, 3-year advanced diploma programs; 15, 1-year graduate certificate programs.
The College anticipates total full-time postsecondary enrolments will increase by 4.8%, in 2017-2018, reflecting a 15.7% increase in international student enrolment and a slight increase of 1.1% in domestic student enrolment. Some programs are seeing reduced admissions due to regional and provincial demographic trends, including declining student population in Niagara’s K-12 schools. The College is counteracting that trend by adding new intakes of popular programs in non-traditional terms (winter/spring), and increasing recruitment outreach in both domestic and international markets.
